The Norshor Theatre :: Duluth, MN
Originally built for "legitimate" theatre in 1910, the Norshor was renovated thirty years later in the Art Deco Style and turned 180 degrees, so that the original stage was now at the back of the theatre. When re-opened as the movie theatre in 1940, it contained the world's only "Milk Bar" in a theatre, as well as a 64-foot lighted tower that was demolished in 1967. The Nor Shor is one of the few
theaters in Minnesota with a bar, so you can enjoy a glass of wine with your movie!
