Originally named The Oak when it was built in 1916, the theatre was remodeled into the 400-seat Campus Theatre in 1935. It remained a movie house until 1989 when it was used for live theatre. March, 1995 saw its reappearance as a movie theatre when it opened as the Oak Street Cinema.
