Twentieth Century Fox Studios has just announced that it is coming to Minnesota to shoot their latest film - JOE SOMEBODY. The film, starring Tim Allen, will begin shooting in the Twin Cities in early April, 2001.

JOE SOMEBODY revolves around a divorced corporate everyman (Tim Allen) who confronts his fears and in the process revitalizes his life and falls in love again.

This is Twentieth Century Fox's fourth film for Minnesota - past films include the March, 2000 release HERE ON EARTH; 1996's JINGLE ALL THE WAY starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and 1993's THE GOOD SON starring Macaulay Culkin.

Tim Allen and director John Pasquin will team up for a third time for JOE SOMEBODY. Past films together have included THE SANTA CLAUSE and JUNGLE 2 JUNGLE. Pasquin also directed Tim Allen in episodes of his hit TV series "Home Improvement".

JOE SOMEBODY will shoot in Minnesota for 10 weeks.
