MINNESOTA FILM BOARD ANNOUNCES FY02 BOARD OFFICERS AND NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Minneapolis, May 21- The Minnesota Film Board is proud to announce its Fiscal Year 2002 Board Officers. Rick Nelson (Govt. Affairs Consultant) will serve as Chair, with Chan Philips (Northwest Airlines) as President, Kathy DiToro (Campbell Mithun) as Vice-President, Nate Garvis (Target Corp.) as Vice-President, J. Marie Fieger (Nemer, Fieger & Assoc.) as Treasurer, and Colleen Needles (Tremendous! Entertainment) will serve as Secretary. The Officers will serve from July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002.
The Film Board renewed the following Directors for a three-year term: Slater Crosby (Camera Operator), John Ehlert (Ashton Management), Kirk Hokanson (Voodoo Films), Chris Longley (Internet Financial Services), and Greg Winter (Wilson Griak).
The Film Board also welcomed to the Board Karyn Gruenberg and Pam Perri Weaver. Ms. Gruenberg comes to the Board with over 14 years of experience in marketing communications, advertising, event and sponsorship development, and project management and currently serves as Vice President of Marketing for the Greater Minneapolis Convention and Visitors Association. Ms. Perri Weaver currently serves as Public Policy Manager in the office of Governor Ventura, and her past credits include serving as the Executive Director of the National Association of Fundraising Ticket Manufacturers (NAFTM) and the Executive Director of Minnesota Citizens for the Arts.
The Film Board also announces the creation of the Personnel Committee, which will advise the Board on personnel and human resource maters. The committee will be co-chaired by Archie Benike and Trevor Lawrence.
