    The Long Drive-In Theatre :: Long Prairie, MN

    The Long Drive-In opened in 1956, with parking for 350 cars. The Long is still in operation, open on weekends only and screening double features. The Long still has traditional drive-in speakers (though the theatre has changed with the times and added AM & FM vicinity broadcast) for the movie soundtrack. The Long ensures that it is a family friendly drive-in by charging only $1 for children ages 6-11.
